Story Lines writing competition winners

Published on 24 October 2022

Congratulations to all the winners of the Story Lines writing competition!

There were so many wonderful stories, this year we received a record number of 502 entries! It was certainly a challenging task for our judges to choose. Our judging panel was made of a team of library staff including some with backgrounds in creative writing, children's literature, and education.

A big thank you to everyone for taking the time and care to enter the competition - the response has been amazing. We hope you enjoyed writing your stories and poems and we look forward to running Story Lines again in 2023.

Please enjoy reading the stories and join us in recognising and congratulating the talented young authors in our community. All winning stories are available to read now. The stories have not been edited or corrected in any way.
