Residency Program for Writers - Expression of interest now open

Writers, your words deserve the space to grow.

This is your chance to immerse yourself in your writing practice, build networks with fellow writers and engage with the wider Kingston community.

Magnify Writers in Residence is Kingston Arts’ artist residency program hosting artists in shared studio spaces. We accommodate artists with varying creative practices, needs, and at different career stages, providing an environment to encourage creation, collaboration and artistic growth.

Magnify Writers in Residence program offers a fully funded studio space at Dingley Village Library, plus financial support and professional development opportunities. 

Applications are open now until Wednesday 10 December.

Residency dates: Monday 20 April - Friday 26 June 2026.  

The Writers in Residence Pilot is a new initiative for 2026, developed as a partnership between Kingston Arts, Kingston Libraries and Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre, to grow and expand on the Artist in Residence offering available at Kingston.
