Author talk: Dawn Mauldon

Dawn Mauldon holding her book

Dawn is the first-born hearing child of Deaf parents.

Growing up in post-war suburban Melbourne, Dawn constantly crossed between languages and cultures as she witnessed people’s varying attitudes towards differences.

As a teacher of English, Literature, and Drama, Dawn sought to challenge how voices of displacement, diversity, and personal histories influence expectations and outcomes.

For ages 55 and up.

Bookings required.
