Join fellow book lovers and discuss a diverse range of books. Our online book group complements our in-person groups, and are ideal for people who want or need the flexibility to participate at their own time and pace.

A new title is chosen each month and available for you to loan for free from our digital BorrowBox collections.

Step 1.Find our group

Visit our Kingston Libraries virtual book group on Facebook.

Step 2.Join the group

Click the Join Group button to request access.

Step 3.Login to Facebook

Login to Facebook (if you're not already signed in) or create an account if you don't have one.

Step 4.Wait for your request to be approved

Once you have requested to join the group, a library staff member will review and approve your request.

Christmas, it’s that one time of year for many families to come together and celebrate while enjoying each other’s company.
For one family as the snow is falling on their seaside cottage it is anything but a harmonious time.
The lights go out, there are brawls, and an escape occurs.

This book group is moderated by Kingston Libraries staff. Rules for being a member are simple:

  • please keep the tone of the conversation respectful at all times and the language family-friendly
  • Kingston Libraries reserve the right to bar anyone who doesn't adhere to these guidelines.

All books will be downloadable from our BorrowBox eBook and eAudiobook collections. A new title will be posted at the beginning of each month and you will be able to borrow the book for 21 days.
