I will read any book featuring Vera Wong
Quick Summary:
Vera Wong is finding life a little dull since solving her last murder and is delighted to find a dead man in her tea house.
Expertly manipulating everyone she comes across in her investigation (if all else fails, bribe them with delicious, homemade Chinese food) she delves into the life of a missing influencer, finding that the glamourous life he posted online is not all that it seemed.
What I thought:
I love Vera Wong.
A tea shop owner, private detective and force to be reckoned with, she wears many hats.
Vera is bossy, endlessly inquisitive, and determined to get answers. She is the perfect combination of endearing and completely infuriating.
