Millions of Australians will come together on Wednesday 27 May for National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS), an annual event celebrating the power of reading and storytelling.
NSS invites children across the country to read the same picture book at the same time.
This year’s featured title is Luna Roo by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton and published by Little Book Press. An energetic underdog story following a rookie captain kangaroo who must find her inner strength. She must trust her teammates, and overcome her nerves in a thrilling outback showdown, celebrating courage, determination, and the spirit of the game.
Come along and enjoy a live reading of Luna Roo followed by a craft activity.
