We’re excited to announce that Kingston Libraries is hosting Sydney Writers’ Festival’s Live & Local livestream for the very first time in 2025!

One of Australia’s most celebrated forums for literature, storytelling and big ideas, the Sydney Writers’ Festival will be livestreaming its headline events from Sydney straight into our Parkdale Library.
Join us for two days of inspiring conversation and thought-provoking discussion featuring some of the world’s most celebrated authors and thinkers—including Markus Zusak, Gina Chick, David Nicholls, and more. Attendees will even have the chance to submit questions to the Sydney stage during each session’s live Q&A.
