First peoples assembly of victoria

For the first time in Australia’s history, a Treaty has been signed with First Peoples.

Victoria’s Statewide Treaty is about making a better and fairer state for all Victorians, by ensuring First Peoples have a say over the policies that impact them and their families.

Join presenters from the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria to hear about Australia’s first Treaty and Gellung Warl, the new body created through Treaty. This is a chance to learn about the long journey to Treaty, what it will mean, the Treaty landscape in Victoria and how First Peoples and allies can get involved.
