Tenderfoot is an exhilarating coming-of-age novel set in 1970s Australia. Praised by Trent Dalton as “magnificent… deeply moving, beautiful, powerful,” it explores a world of greyhound racing, family bonds, and the moment when childhood begins to fall away.

Wait for the boxes to open, wait for the race to begin. Wait, and your greyhound will cease to be the dog you know and become an entirely different kind of animal.
