For more than ten years, the Melbourne Zhiyin Choir has brought Chinese retirees together through a shared love of music.

Made up entirely of non-professional singers, the choir combines weekly rehearsals, dedication and plenty of laughter to create rich, uplifting harmonies.

Each year, their much-loved concerts showcase growing confidence, connection and musical skill, with performances ranging from timeless classics to contemporary favourites.

Proudly based in Kingston, the choir is an active presence at local festivals and community events, using music to build connection, celebrate culture and spread joy across generations.
