January book

The Rose Garden by Tracy Rees

The Rose Garden

It's 1895 in Hampstead, London. Mabs, Olive and Otty, three very different women, all live near one another. One is from an impoverished life, one from a life of privilege and the third is an only a child. Their lives cross paths when Mabs gains an opportunity to change her circumstances. This novel highlights the roles that women played in society and in their friendship and family relationships. Read or listen on BorrowBox
